The
purpose of this program is to motivate young people
to be better Americans. The program of instruction
(PIO) includes courses in citizenship, leadership,
history, marksmanship, drug awareness and prevention.
Students are required to take the cadet challenge.
Completion of this program can lead to advanced placement
credit in the senior ROTC program or to advanced rank
in the armed forces. Let 4 will deal with duties and
responsibilities within the cadet battalion. Academic
instruction of Let 4 will consist of a self-paced
study of special assignments and other activities.
