PSYCHOLOGY DEPARTMENT SUMMER CAMP!
This summer, the Department of Psychology at Eastern Kentucky
University will host Camp Inner Space, a residential camp
for high school students interested in the field of psychology.
Working with EKU faculty members, students will study
clinical psychology, neuroscience, forensic psychology,
sensation and perception, cognitive psychology, developmental
psychology and animal behavior. Students will live on
campus, take field trips and participate in many hands-on

the diversity of options that are available with a psychology
To be eligible for the camp, each student must: demonstrate
academic excellence by having a GPA of 3.3 or higher,
obtain a letter of reference from a teacher and submit
a brief essay addressing reasons for interest in the camp.

Space is limited, so early registration is urged. A $50
nonrefundable registration fee will be applied to students’
tuition. Inner Space Camp fees total $385, which includes
the cost of housing, food, materials, activities and camp
gear. Scholarships are available.
