
The International
Thespian Society (ITS) is the largest student theatre honor society.
ITS, a division of the Educational Theatre Association, was founded
in 1929 to promote and strengthen theatre in secondary schools.
Charter
Members are inducted when they reach 10 points or 100 hours of
theatre work. Honorary status is achieved after completing 20
points. Students can be associated with the Thespian Society while
they work toward their first 10 points and will be known as an
apprentice.
Thespian
Society meets bimonthly on Fridays at 3:20 in the Media Center
