CHS JV Academic Team recently participated in the yearly JV Challenge competition. This year the competition was held at Bell County High School on Saturday, November 17th. The CHS JV team won not only the quick recall competition but also placed in several written assessment content areas. Scott Muffly received first place in Math and tied for third place in Social Studies with his classmate, Tony Huffman. Brenda Patel received sixth place in Math based on her overall scores. Collin Dunn took first place in Science, Karlee Jaynes second, and Tony Huffman in fourth. Collin Dunn also scored second place in Arts & Humanities.

CHS Academic Team won the District Governor's Cup. They placed first in Quick Recall and had a final standing score of 49.5.

CHS Academic Team placed in the top 16 in quick recall at the State Governor’s
Cup competition held March 15-17th in Louisville, KY at the Galt House.
D.J. Seibert placed 4th in the state in the Social Studies written assessment.
